To be yourself in a world that is constantly trying to make you something else is the greatest accomplishment. -Ralph Waldo Emerson

New Years resolutions (NYR) are a crock of SHIT! It us just a celebrated form of procrastination...for example. "Oh hey! My NYR is to lose 150 lbs!" why wait so long fatty, just put down the FORK!!! Or, "hey! My NYR is to be a better person!" No, your a douchebag and NOTHING will ever change that. It's who you are. Deal with it. I have nothing against you if you have an NYR, I just think you're a dipshit. Why wait all year to do something. Be happy with who you are and make yourself feel that way if you don't like who you are. You don't need a holiday to do that, and if you do, pretend every day is a holiday you friggin' schmuck. From Blogspot, this Phoenix signing off.

So we just finished watching Grown Ups again...I figured I'd get this down in writing.....
My boys will never be spoiled little shits who demand everything and sit inside all day watching tv. They will get there asses up and play outside like normal freaking kids. Also they will not be handed everything in life, they will work for the majority of the things they get. That way they will appreciate it more and they will be productive members of society. Also...they will respect their mother, that's a big one for me. Ty and I are going to raise great kids thy are freaking smart little shits. Okay done ranting....peace out bloggrs.

So today we left for our first stop on a MUCH needed vacation....I've been extremely stressed out lately and going to Utah is a perfect escape :) we stopped in Vegas this afternoon, it was my first time there and it was a blast walking around the strip with my favorite person in the world. Then we packed up and finished our trip to St. George where we had dinner with Grandma Barbra-roo! :) tomorrow we leave for the SLC and I cannot wait to be there...as I posted before I love it here and I'm going to dread going home...but I'm going to soak in as much ad I can before Saturday :)

So Ty and I are watching are favorite show, Family Guy, just like we do every night...I thought I would just lay out my opinion on why this is quite simply the greatest modern comedy that has been on television in the past decade. Sur,e kids of our generation grew up Simpsons fans, blah blah whatever. The Simpsons died after a certain point and it amazes me that it is still on the air. Family Guy is a show for mature audiences that incorporates a perfect mix of everything. I have never witnessed anything incorporate such random themes and elements with such success. It continues a story line, just like any other sitcom does, and it has a new intriguing episode every week that focuses on different characters so they all get their share. But most of all, the greatest thing about Family Guy, is the pop culture references. It is a show that appeals to everyone but shows most people clips of great films and introduces them to a whole new world of film. Family Guy is freakin' sweet!

So today started off good, and then went completely down the drain....I went into work at 12 in a pretty good mood....a couple hours later it was time for my lunch break so I went to get in my car to go home and see Ty...too bad my car wouldn't shift out of park. So basically my car is pretty much done for. Then, the feud between my mother finally ended when we essentially decided to disown each other.........at least I'm at home now with the love of my life, and the person who can put me in a better mood with just one look. She's my rock and I don't know what I'd ever do without her.
